A Belated Mother's Day Post

We had a great Mother's Day celebration this year on Mother's Day Weekend and the weekend after when Grandma, Pop Pop and Doe came up to visit.

I love playing with Pop Pop.

This is the Little Mermaid nightgown I love so much, because I think Ariel looks like my Mommy.

Big smiles!

And now a little posing.

I love sitting in my Grandma's lap too.

But Pop Pop really likes to play. I love being upside-down.

And Doe read me a pop-up book.

This is my "pet" lizard. He fits in well with our two cats, a fish and a frog (all real pets).

And my favorite puppy: Anna! We are all getting ready to go eat some Thai food.

I love the princess tent that Ratana and Joom, our friends from the Thai restaurant, bought me.

Daddy took some pictures of Mama. Here's a funny look.

Happy Mother's Day Mama!

Daddy's two favorite girls.

And another shot of us.

I love my Mommy, and she loves me too.

Here are Pop Pop and Grandma. They are about to enjoy some delicious Thai food.

Daddy now has control over your mind. Be very, very afraid.

I'm a happy girl today. Ratana gave me some beautiful hair barrettes.

See! Well, you can't really see it can you?

I love playing with my Mommy's jewelry. This is her necklace that says, "mother to a little girl" in Mandarin.

And here's one with Mama, Ratana and Mei-Ling!

And here is my other friend Lalapat. She, Ratana and Joom are my friends.

We had two great Mother's Day weekends! And how wonderful it is to have both Mama and Grandma to share Mother's Day with.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Daddy turned 35 years old this month! We went to our favorite place for dinner (Thai of course) to celebrate.

We had such a good time.

Mommy helped me with my Tom Kha (coconut milk soup with lemongrass and other yummy things). I'm doing better getting it to my mouth. I'm also learning how to use chop sticks, but I have a long way to go.

Ratana brought Daddy a special Thai dessert - a Taro cake with coconut milk. Yum!

We had a great dinner. I also was glad to dress like a princess. What I define as "princess" is wearing a dress. I will tell Mama each day whether or not she looks like a princess.

Oh, and notice the Hello Kitty watch and the bracelet. I'm really into this princess thing.

We're glad you had a good birthday Daddy! May you have many, many more.
