Child of Blessing

Today was my baptism. We were reminded of the many blessings bestowed upon us. We celebrate that we were brought together as a family to love one another and enjoy our time here on Earth. The song sung today was "Child of Blessing," and Mama and Baba are so grateful and feel so blessed that their path led to me.

I really enjoyed the service. Mama had prepared me for water dripping on my head, but she didn't tell me it would drip onto my arm. I had the whole church chuckling
as I shook it off my arm.

This is my more serious face.

Here is a picture Pop Pop took during my baptism. Thanks to Pastors Mark and Beecher and our sweet friends Marie and Bert for participating.

We are so grateful Doe, Pop Pop and Grandma were able to attend and
spend the weekend with us.

And here's one with Mama and Baba.

Smiling as Baba held me in the narthex and we greeted our fellow church members.

After my baptism, we went had had some delicious Thai food. After that, I was surprised with a couple of presents - a tricycle and a hoppity hop ball! Mama will post pictures from that experience later.

Snow In Georgia!

We enjoyed quite a surprise this month - 9 inches of ice/snow! This was my very first time seeing ice and snow like this, and I really had a great time.

Mama had fun in the snow too. We couldn't believe how quickly it accumulated here.

Here is what our house and yard looked like about halfway into the snowstorm.

Baba decided that Pandora needed to come experience the snow as well. You can probably tell from her expression that she did not appreciate nor enjoy it at all.

This happened last week, and now this week it has been in the 80s for several days. Typical March weather in Georgia. Check back in a few days to see pictures of my baptism! It's happening this coming Sunday. Zai jian!
